My top 4 gifts every artist should get this Christmas

My top 4 gifts that every artist should get this Christmas

1/ Chukchi 300w Mini Heat Gun

Being a watercolour artist, it makes sense for me to have this awesome little tool. I have had mine for a couple of months now and I use it every time I get my watercolour paints out.

I love the fact that it is lightweight and easy to use, with a cute little stand to protect surfaces from being ruined from the heat. It dries my watercolours in between washes perfectly so I can get my paintings finished a little quicker without having to wait for ages for the paint to dry.

This tool is a must for crafters too as it works well as a heat gun for embossing powders.

2/ Draw Manga by Sonia Leong

I love drawing and painting Manga but I haven’t done it in a while. That is definitely a project for me in the near future. This book taught me some great tips that were easy to put into practice. It is an easy to follow text book with some great illustrations and is vibrant with colour. It also offers 28 teaching clips to view online, which is great if you want to follow along with the artist.

Any arty person would love a gift like this for Christmas, I am sure.

3/ Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours

I have only just recently gifted this product to myself and I am in love with it already. If you would like to know more about these paints then you can read the review I did on them here:

Kuretake-Watercolours-review

I wanted to mention them again in this post because I think it would make a beautiful gift for any artist, and being completely vegan-friendly as well makes it even more special.

At only £28.08 for 36 colours presented in a luxurious box means that you get each pan of watercolour for under a pound.

4/ Pigma Micron Fineliners

I love my pigma micron fineliners, especially when I am doing a line and wash painting or just some quick sketches. Each pen has a different sized nib to create bold heavy lines to narrow feint lines. You could add these pens to any artistic persons stocking filler and at £8.25 for 6 you can’t go wrong.

I don’t know about you but I am looking forward to waking up on Christmas morning. I’ve told my nearest and dearest that all I want is Vegan-friendly art stuff.

What are you hoping for?
